# Convert HEIC Photos to JPG

Make iPhone photos work with sites and apps that need JPG. Add HEIC or HEIF files and download one JPG or a batch as ZIP, without uploading your photos.

Page: https://easy-edits.com/heic-to-jpg. Runs in the browser; files are not uploaded.

## How to convert iPhone photos to JPG

1. Choose HEIC or HEIF files from your device. You can add up to 50 photos.
2. JPG is already selected. The first conversion may download a browser decoding library; your photos are processed locally.
3. Review a photo, then download it, or prepare the batch and download all successful conversions as a ZIP.

## Tips

- The original HEIC files are unchanged. Keep them if you want the originals.
- This tool converts still images, not the motion component of Live Photos. Browser exports do not preserve camera metadata.
- Very large images are fitted within 8,192 pixels per side and 16.7 megapixels. If a particular HEIC file cannot be decoded, the tool reports it.
- Need a smaller JPG? Continue in [resize and compress](https://easy-edits.com/resize-compress-image) after conversion.

## FAQ

### Are my iPhone photos uploaded?

No. Conversion runs in this browser. Only the decoding library is downloaded when needed.

### Can I convert more than one HEIC photo?

Yes. Prepare a batch and download the converted photos together as a ZIP.

### Does JPG preserve transparency?

No. Transparent areas become white. Choose PNG or WebP if you need transparency.
