# Easy Edits

> Free image, PDF, video and audio tools at https://easy-edits.com. Everything runs in the user's browser: files are processed on their device and never uploaded. No account, no watermark.

## Using Easy Edits from an AI agent

- In a browser: every tool page registers its actions as tools. Browsers with WebMCP see them through `document.modelContext`; any agent that can run page scripts can use `window.easyEdits.tools` (the list) and `await window.easyEdits.call(name, args)`. The tools drive the visible page, so the user sees each step. Results download to the user's device; pass `return_data: true` to get the file back as base64.
- Getting a file in: pass `url` (same-site or CORS-enabled), `data_url` or `data_base64` to the page's load tool, or ask the user to drop the file on the page.
- With file access (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor and other MCP clients): run the local MCP server with `claude mcp add easy-edits -- npx -y easy-edits-mcp`, or `npx -y easy-edits-mcp` in any MCP client config. It runs the same edits on file paths, offline: https://www.npmjs.com/package/easy-edits-mcp
- Every page has a Markdown copy at its path plus `.md`, e.g. https://easy-edits.com/image-crop.md. Everything in one file: https://easy-edits.com/llms-full.txt
- Every page also offers `list_easy_edits_tools` (this file) and `open_easy_edits_tool` (navigate to a tool page).
